Benzalkonium Chloride (BZK) may be used whenever a gentle cleansing solution is needed. BZK is non-toxic, non-irritating,non-volatile and does not bleach fabrics. This easy to use prep pad measures 1.25" X 1.5". These prep pads are packaged in a material designed to hold up to the rigors of ethylene oxide sterilization. This reduces the problem of dry prep pads in your kits. Practitioners will not have to break procedure to locate a separate prep pad to complete the procedure.
