Can bottled Povidone-Iodine (PVP-I) solution be warmed prior to use?

Yes. Bottled Povidone-Iodine can be warmed to approximately 37^oC (body temperature) prior to use provided it is packaged in a container not previously opened and it is not held at this temperature for longer than the day on which it is to be used. As is the case with most drug products, Povidone-Iodine will degrade if kept at elevated temperatures for extended periods of time.
